About MyVans WA (Formerly MyPod WA)

Built From Experience. Focused on Freedom.

MyVans WA was born out of real-world experience, changing market demand, and a genuine desire to provide practical living solutions in Western Australia.

Formerly known as MyPod WA, the business evolved as it became clear that the overwhelming majority of enquiries were for campervan and custom van conversions. Rather than trying to do everything, we chose to focus on what we do best — designing and building reliable, well-thought-out vans that actually work in the real world.

The name MyVans WA reflects that focus clearly and honestly.

Same workshop. Same hands-on builder. Sharper direction.

The Experience Behind the Build

MyVans WA is run by a qualified carpenter and builder with nearly three decades of experience across residential construction, commercial projects, maintenance, and custom builds.

That background matters.

It means your van isn’t just fitted out — it’s properly built.
Every conversion is approached with the same mindset as a quality building project:

  • Structural integrity

  • Smart use of materials

  • Practical layouts

  • Attention to detail

  • Compliance and safety awareness

No flat-pack shortcuts. No gimmicks. No “Instagram-only” builds that don’t last.

Just honest workmanship, built to be used.

Why Van Conversions?

Like many people in WA, I’ve watched the housing crisis continue to worsen — rising rents, limited availability, and fewer affordable options for everyday Australians.

Van living isn’t a gimmick. For many people, it’s a real solution:

  • A way to regain independence

  • A way to travel while working

  • A way to reduce living costs

  • A stepping stone while housing options are limited

MyVans WA exists to provide safe, functional, and affordable van conversions for people who want freedom without compromising on quality or reliability.

This isn’t about luxury for luxury’s sake — it’s about livable, sensible design.

What the Clients Say!

Close-up of a smiling woman with long light brown hair and blue eyes, standing outdoors.

Carol (2003 Hiace Commuter) - “Brad did a full fit out for me from scratch after I purchased a van from a mowing contractor and helped get my van licensed as a campervan. He is very knowledgable and was able to source trades necessary to put solar, 12v and 240v as well as an innovatiove plumbing solution as well as install roof vents and other 12v accessories”

This short video is from a client who was heartbroken from the last guy that “had a go at it”. Her inheritance from her late father was invested in the van and fit-out. She brought it to us to fix a few things which turned out nearly a full rebuild. We managed to fix it up for her and get it all working and looking so much better…

Dale (Mercedes Sprinter) - “I inherited my van from my husbands workmate who’d started fitting it out already, every other company I tried wanted to strip it all and start again with their own build but Brad was happy to work in with what was there to save costs and get us on the road for my terminally-ill husband.“
